Jemma with a fork big enough to Eat the World
There is nothing better than a great food blog. Hopefully one day this will be one of them.
As a hedonist by nature I’m very lucky to have been born and raised in Edinburgh: a city bursting at the seams with fantastic restaurants, cafés, pubs and secret supper clubs. Launching my very own food blog meant I got to turn my hobby into, well another hobby; reviewing restaurants in Edinburgh, Scotland, and beyond!
This blog is mostly comprised of Edinburgh restaurant reviews. Although I love travelling, I’m not made of money and working full time means less chance of going abroad. But whenever I do have foodie adventures overseas, I’ll be writing about them here so stay tuned.
I enjoy cooking and baking too, so whenever I try something a little bit different or new I’ll share my recipes (I’ll try not to bore you with recipe after recipe for cheese toasties).
Obviously the name of the blog is a tribute to one of my favourite bands growing up, Jimmy Eat World. I’m totally not affiliated with them though, clearly. Although there are some homages to them peppered throughout my cheeky little food blog.
Anyway, enjoy. Remember to follow me on Twitter (I have a Facebook page too as well as a Google Plus profile) and if you want to contact me drop me a line on Jemma eat world [at] gmail [dot] com, or you can always use the contact box in the right side bar.
I do have a few caveats for people getting in touch, however: you can read them here.
Disclaimer
All opinions on Jemma Eat World, unless otherwise stated, are my own. If you think I’ve been unfair in a review, or if you agree with me, please let me know in the comment section of that blog post.
All images and text used on Jemma Eat World are my own, unless stated otherwise. If you want to use them, please get in touch with me first and ask permission. As long as you credit me and link back to my site, then I’m happy for you to use my pictures.
Sometimes I get sent things to review from PR and marketing companies. Don’t look so shocked: I come from an Online PR and Marketing background myself, so I am open to working with companies who want me to review their product, or come along to their event. I won’t dupe you: whenever I get a freebie, I disclose this in full. And it’s unlikely to impact my opinion. Sheesh, look at my review of the Steak Edinburgh launch.
My site uses cookies. I have Google Analytics installed on Jemma Eat World. It gives me data like how many visitors I get, how long you guys spend on each post, and which content is popular. I don’t have access to anything personal, like your name.
